Shay Hawkins is running for Ohio congress with a message of change. Opportunity zones have been designated by Senator Tim Scott and the Trump Administration as places where businesses can invest at a lower cost and lower taxes.
Hawkins says nearly all of these zones are in Democrat-run cities. He wants to make sure investment happens instead of destruction.
