Trump administration will continue with economic sanctions on Iran after missile strike

(KFTK) – Deputy Assistant to the President Hogan Gidley joined the show to discuss Nancy Pelosi handing the impeachment articles to the Senate finally.

Gidley said the president is looking forward to it moving to the Senate and getting it done.

Shifting towards the president’s plan with Iran, Gidley said it’s too soon to tell if this will bring the country to the negotiating table.

“What we want is an Iran that is normalized,” he said. “the president made an open plea that we can work with you, but it’s up to you.”

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin said we will continue putting economic sanctions on Iran until it stops its terrorist activities.

“How this looks moving forward remains to be seen,” Gidley said.
