An American Airlines pilot reported seeing a man flying a jetpack as he was approaching LAX about 3,000 feet and 10 miles out for a landing.
A second pilot backed up his claim, and the FBI is investigating. It seems unlikely, but pilots are pretty trustworthy! The pilot who made the report estimated that the jetpack was only about 300 yeards outside of his window.
