Former Ferguson Police Chief: Authorities’ standing by as buildings burn in Minnesota is ‘exactly the wrong tactic’

Although the actual incidents were very different, we’re seeing a similar reaction by the community in Minneapolis that we saw in Ferguson.

Chief Jackson discusses the initial attempts to curb the violence, rioting, and looting in his community. He says after the first couple of days, the Governor (Jay Nixon) ordered the authorities to stand down and watch idly as our city burned.
