Schweizer pulls no punches with presidential candidate, Senator Amy Klobuchar.
"It's pretty clear. She, on a number of levels, has engaged in corrupt behavior," says Schweizer.
Before she was in the US Senate, Klobuchar was a prosecutor in the Minneapolis region. Schweizer says, "the second largest Ponzi scheme in American history was conceived and carried out there," she never investigated the ringleader, Tom Petters. He was eventually arrested by the FBI and is serving a federal sentence.
"What we found was, that no, there was lots of evidence (against Petters). She was warned that Thomas Petters was engaged in this (scheme) and she didn't prosecute him," says Schweizer. "He was, along with his business organization, by far, its not even close, her largest campaign contributor. When he was finally arrested by the FBI, one of his first calls was to then US Senator Amy Klobachar back in Washington DC who set him up with a nice lawyer."
Schweizer also comments on the Joe Biden family and the Bernie Sanders family.
