(KFTK) – Jim Carafano from Heritage says following the Covid-19 shutdown, Americans need to learn how to help businesses.
"As we come out of this, people say well we have to restart the American engine," says Carafano, but more needs to be done. "Look inside at the local level, at the state level, at the federal level and say, 'what are we doing that's keeping people from getting in business and doing business? Why does it take so long to open a business?"
Carafano wonders how the economies across the world can get re-started.
"That's the way we need to be looking at this, Says Carafano, "when we come out of this, how do we get America up and running, but also how do we get America's leadership in the world up and running again. The whole world's really taken a timeout."
