Trend predictor says Soleimani's death is 'devastating' for Trump's re-election: 'It's going to escalate us into a war'

(KFTK) – Gerald Celente, publisher of the Trends Journal,  joins Dr Randy Tobler for his annual visit with prognostications for the new year.

He thinks the recent attack on Iran General Qasem Soleimani will hurt President Donald Trump's chances for re-election, "this is devastating what just happened, as we see it.  Its going to have very negative effects, and its going to escalate us into a war at a time, when you read the polls, most people are tired of the wars with Afghanistan, Iraq.  This is just going to trump it up more, it's going to be a negative for him if this continues to escalate  the way it is now."

Dr Tobler wonders if this has to escalate into a war with Iran, Celente says it is already headed that way in  these early stages, "mission creep is on  the way, it's already happening."

"First of all, Randy, we've been writing about this in the Trends Journal now since 2017.  That a coalition between the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia [were] aiming toward Iran," says Celente.

"Trump basically declared economic terrorism against Iran when he pulled out of the nuclear deal and put on all these sanctions. They have massive unemployment, skyrocketing inflation.  The  people are now rallying around the Iranian government," says Celente.  "this was the perfectly wrong thing to do at the wrong time, because Soleimani was a hero to many people in Iran."

Celente and Randy also chat about the economy.
