St. Louis prepares for 4th of July festivities

General Chairman of Fair St. Louis, Tim Meers joins Mark Reardon to discuss this weekend's annual music festival taking place at Kiener Plaza & Ballpark Village. Then, Ed Mayuga, spokesperson for America's Birthday Parade, shares the excitement for their parade in downtown St. Louis!

“This new location is really providing a great experience because it’s more like a music festival with multiple stages that we have. There’s music playing just about all day long on some stage, whether it’s at Kiener Plaza, Ballpark Village, or our DJ stage,” shared Meers. This year's line up includes X Ambassadors, Coolio, Third Eye Blind, and more!

Mayuga commented, “It’s the 139th America’s Birthday Parade, we have been running this parade in the streets of downtown St. Louis since 1878… We actually have only canceled this parade twice in its history. Once in World War II, and once for the pandemic.” America’s Birthday parade takes place Saturday July 2nd at 10am.
