Photos of the hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton where Bob Saget was found dead in Florida at the beginning of the year have been released by local authorities.

On Tuesday, months after his death on Jan. 9, the Orange County Sheriff's Office released the images showing where the comedian spent his final minutes.

The photos showed Saget's room and lined up with the investigator's statements that there was no sign of a struggle when his body was found.

The photos also pointed to the report by the medical examiner that Saget died from an accidental blow to the head.

Authorities have speculated that Saget may have hit his head on his bed's headboard before going to sleep, causing internal bleeding. One of the photos shows the bed, and the white padded headboard can be seen.

Other photos show the state of the room, including a sitting area in the suite and the bathroom Saget, used with toiletries on the counter.

Joshua Stephany, the Chief Medical Examiner in Orange County, Florida, released the report on Saget's death and detailed that he had a fracture near the base of his skull.

The fracture could have led to his death as an autopsy report said he had experienced bleeding around his brain, the Associated Press reported.

"[Stephany] explained that the amount of force necessary to cause the fracture, coupled with the fact that the skin on the back of the head was still intact, led him to believe that the injury was most likely caused by 'something hard, covered by something soft,' and he gave, as an example, a fall onto a carpeted floor," officials said in a report, Fox 35 reported.

If Saget had experienced a fracture, it "would have stunned" him causing him to be dizzy, according to Stephany, the Orange County Sheriff's Office reported in an incident report.

The injury was not severe enough for Saget to notice, but if he was with others, they would have likely seen him having issues with "confusion, balance, and/or slurred speech," the report shared.

The report ruled that Saget could have hit his head on two possible items, the headboard and the carpeted floor, both seen in the photos released.

Investigators are continuing to look into Saget's death which they have called "an unusual case." The investigation remains ongoing, with "a lot of unanswered questions" still on the table.
