COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KFTK) - Illinois is the 11th state to have legalized recreational marijuana and the state and municipalities are reaping the benefits of its demand.
However, it didn't seem to be affecting sales. HCI alternatives in Collinsville Illinois had people waiting in line for hours to purchase products.
People started lining up at Illinois Supply and Provisions in Collinsville on New Year's Eve and the line grew so much that customers were being turned away starting at 4 p.m. on New Year's Day. Legally, it must stop selling marijuana at 9 p.m.
