WASHINGTON (KFTK) - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has signed onto Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley's resolution that would throw out the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
The resolution says the House should be required to deliver articles of impeachment to the Senate within "25 calendar days." Otherwise, the articles will be up "for any Senator to offer a motion to dismiss such articles with prejudice."

Last week, Hawley posted a series of tweets that he will introduce the measure on Monday to dismiss the impeachment "for lack of prosecution," and criticized House Democrats for "abuse of the Constitution, based on no evidence."
