President Trump rips Obama's Iran policy saying he 'paid for' the missiles fired at US forces

WASHINGTON (KFTK/AP) - President Donald Trump accused former President Barack Obama of providing Iran the funds to carryout out the missile attack on U.S. troops in Iraq, during his address to the nation on Wednesday.
"The United States will immediately impose additional punishing economic sanctions on the Iranian regime. These powerful sanctions will remain until Iran changes its behavior," Trump said.
Trump credited an early warning system “that worked very well” for the fact that no Americans or Iraqis were killed. He added that Americans should be “extremely grateful and happy” with the outcome.
Trump, facing one of the greatest tests of his presidency, said Wednesday that Iran appeared to be “standing down” and said the U.S. response would be to put in place new economic sanctions “until Iran changes its behavior.”
