Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss inflation and the war in Ukraine as members of the delegation continue to make trips to Ukraine.
Congressman Davis stated, “we're going to continue to make sure that the Biden administration and the democrats who control the House and the Senate are held accountable for inaction and actions like spending trillions more, which will exacerbate inflationary pressures.”
He continues, “what we can do is ask for the vote of the American people to put republicans back in charge of the House and the Senate, then we can do something legislatively about inflation.”
On Ukraine, Congressman Davis comments, “I think it's great to show bipartisan support for what's happening with President Zelensky and the Ukrainians. If it puts pressure on the Biden administration to begin to provide more weaponry to our Ukrainian allies, it's great. I don't want to see American soldiers go fight in Ukraine, but that means we have to arm them with the best technology so that they can continue to defend themselves.”
