City board of alderman, Jeffery Boyd joins guest host Mike Elam to talk about money efforts in St. Louis.
“It’s unfair that people target that agency all the time for being slum landlords. You know when property goes up for the tax sale. When no one buys it, by default they’re already impaired” Boyd states. “We don’t fund them enough to keep the grass maintained, to keep them boarded up, because we have so many other issues, but the time is now. The money coming in from the NFL settlement, with the stimulus money from the Biden administration coming in, it is a golden opportunity to fix the City of St. Louis and be proud to be a part of the region.”
