Former St. Louis Police Captain David Dorn will be honored at a memorial in Forest Park. Dorn was murdered one year ago today while trying to stop looters at a north St. Louis pawn shop.
The Ethical Society of Police is hosting the memorial that begins at 11am.
Missouri lawmakers have voted to name a part of Interstate 70 in memory of Dorn. The highway signs will be presented at the memorial.
