The DGS and Hardee's are teaming up again this Holiday Season to help Operation Food Search and those children and families facing food insecurities.
Here's how you can help:
Thank you all for helping to raise funds for Operation Food Search! Your support has been overwhelming as there are only small quantities left of our DGS stickers at certain location with a majority of them sold out!
If you still would like to make a donation for DGS gear, check out our donation incentives and help if you can by making a donation to receive select premium items! Check them out HERE !
100% of those donations will benefit Operation Food Search and their Operation Backpack initiative.
Over the past two and a half years, the DGS has helped raise just under $200,000 for Operation Food Search and our goal this year is to get to $250,000! The need is great and we thank you in advance for any support to help feed those in need.

More about Operation Food Search:
Before COVID food insecurity with kids (ages 18 and under) had lowered to 1 in 6 across our bi-state region. Since, it’s increased dramatically to now 1 in 4 kids. Operation Backpack is completely privately funded, no government funding exists. This program provides bags of weekend food to kids (shelf stable, kid friendly nutritious food) every week of the school year.
In order to meet the demand posed by current economic challenges, Operation Backpack plans to increase capacity by 50%. With support of generous funders, like the DGS audience and Hardee’s customers, we hope to distribute 870,640 meals throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
