Kelly Benavides from RecallSamPage.org joined The Marc Cox Morning Show this week to publicize their efforts to remove St Louis County Executive Sam Page from office.
The effort started in August, and there are 10,000 signatures so far. The group needs 53,000 signatures from St Louis County residents and the group is planning on collecting 60-thousand before the end of 2021.
Benavides says the group is seeking Page's recall for various reasons including his push for mask mandates and mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations for St Louis County employees.
"We want to have our freedom," Benavides tells Cox.
The petition is not online, physical petitions must be signed for the petitions to advance.
