Eureka Mayor Sean Flower joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss the reasons behind Eureka High School taking down their First Responders banner from their baseball field with Mark Reardon.
Flower stated, “ I don’t know if there were complaints or not, but they have had about a year and a half with that flag. The baseball team put thin blue lines logos on the backs of their hats. The school decided they didn’t wanna have that based on a complaint.”
Later, he continued, “My Understanding now is, they don’t want anything but the American flag on the wall. That’s the standard, so if there’s any modification to a standard flag you can’t do it.”
