97.1 FM Talk congratulates our very own Fred Bodimer for being one of the ten media professionals inducted into The St. Louis Media History Foundation's Hall of Fame this year.
During Bodimer’s 40+ years in the St. Louis radio market, he has been a reporter, editor, and executive producer, and won numerous awards, including an Edward R. Murrow Award for outstanding continuous coverage of the clergy sex abuse scandal; a Wilbur Award, for religious coverage; an Angel Award and a Missouri Broadcasters Award for best religion news coverage; and more.
The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner will take place Thursday, February 1, at 6 p.m. at The Sheldon Ballroom. Tickets are available on Eventbrite through January 24.
