97.1 Legal Analyst with Harris, Dowell, Fischer and Young, Brad Young, joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss the latest on Kim Gardner's response to Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey's petition to remove her from office.
“The ball is squarely in the judge's corner here. And what the judge has to do is make a decision on one of two things. Either the bar has been set by Bailey and Gardner failed to override that bar, meaning she is out of the office or the judge persuaded by the pleadings that were filed literally at the last hour last night before the deadline,” shared Young.
He continued, “And whether that allows her to stay in office. That's the real decision. It's a binary decision here that the judge has to make. But there's no time frame on when that will happen.”
