"It's a great day, anything that we can do for our veterans, we certainly do in the city of Florissant," said Lowery who is excited about the parade on Sunday. "This will be our largest one ever, we have over 50-units in the parade, and so it's going to be bigger and better than it's ever been. So we're very excited about it."
Veterans also have the chance to get a trim from a long-time veterans supporter, the Hair Saloon for Men.
Tom Twellman, Jr. said all locations will continue their tradition of offering free haircuts for veterans on Veterans Day, November 11.
"This year, we're doing something even a little different, we're asking our clients to get involved," said Twellman. "Through December 10, we're running a 'groom it forward' campaign, where we're asking clients to kind of pay it forward and be able to donate and buy a haircut for a hero." (Below)
