Local attorney and frequent #BottomLine guest Jane Dueker joined Marc Cox for a discussion on crime in the city of St Louis.

Dueker says she is concerned with the political influence that may happen during the upcoming selection process for a new Police Chief in the City of St Louis.

"We don't have a problem with the process, we have a problem with the values that are going to be brought to the decision," says Dueker, "and the values that are going to be brought to the decision is, you're going to have to be a police chief that's willing to de-fund. And, you know, that's very frightening."

Dueker says residents of St Louis are fed up with the crime, but, "on the choice of the Police Chief, that is unfortunately the Mayor's [Tisharura Jones] decision and given her principle and everything we've seen so far, its very concerning."
