Representative Elik: 'It's like a very large bomb went off'

Illinois State Representative Amy Elik has been surveying the damage following the tornado that struck Edwardsville on Friday. The storm damaged homes and destroyed an Amazon warehouse.

"It is absolutely shocking.”

Elik praised the bravery of the first responders who went towards the danger in the storm's aftermath. She also applauded Amazon as they have rallied around their employees and have donated $1 million to the Edwardsville Community Foundation. Elik says that if you would like to assist in the recovery donations can be made to that fund, the Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. Most importantly Elik says to pray for the victims of this storm. Listen to the full interview above.
