St Louis restaurant-owner Steven Savage sees a light at the end of the tunnel as restrictions are lifted from his businesses.
The owner of the Wheelhouse and Start bar joined Marc Cox to discuss his situation and complained about the lack of communication when his bar was shut down, "for one person to make that decision is just wrong," says Savage, "for there to be no appeal process, before giving us our closure, no one comes to talk to us to say, 'what's going on in these photos?"
The St Louis City Health Department ordered the bars closed for repeated Covid-19 violations in January.
Savage says it is a good sign that the Missouri legislature is paying attention to business owners. We have a, "renewed faith that they're going to do something about it. We're championing these bills, House Bill 75 and Senate Bill 12. This is all a new world to us."
