
ST. LOUIS (97.1 FM TALK) - Radio host Mark Reardon and "The Mark Reardon Show" premieres Monday on 97.1 FM Talk (KFTK-FM.)
The show, which currently airs on KMOX 1120AM, will move to the 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. time slot on weekdays starting March 29. Then from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. we will air "The Best of The Dave Glover Show."
Brand Manager Steve Moore said "Mark is conversational, well-informed and entertaining. He will talk about a broad range of topics, including politics. Listeners can expect to hear his take on everything from hard news to predicting the winner of the Kentucky Derby. He will be a terrific fit on 97.1 FM Talk."
"The Dave Glover Show" has moved from 97.1 FM Talk to KMOX 1120AM.
Reardon was the host of “The Mark Reardon Show” and part of “Total Information PM” on KMOX.
The Chicago native moved to St. Louis in 1979, but started in radio when he was just 15 years old. He graduated from Parkway West High School in 1983, then attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
Reardon worked in radio and TV in Columbia, Mo., for 10 years, then had stays with KSD-AM in St. Louis, WTMJ in Milwaukee and WGN in Chicago before ending up at KMOX.
He is a film fanatic and has been a long-time film critic. Mark is a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA). He's also a member of the Broadcast Journalist Television Association (BJTA).
He describes himself as an avid cyclist, fisherman, hunter and is passionate about music — especially Bruce Springsteen.
Reardon is married and has three children.
