
According to police, an early morning shooting on Saturday broke out at a Halloween party in Oklahoma City, leaving at least one person dead and a dozen others injured.
The Oklahoma City Police Department shared with NBC News that it was notified of a “disturbance” at the city’s events center that led to multiple shots being fired inside and outside.
A spokesperson shared that several people have been detained in connection to the shooting, though, the “suspects are unknown at this time.”
“We are in the process of interviewing witnesses,” police said. “We will provide more details when we get them.”
It is still not clear what caused the shooting at this time, but police are continuing to investigate.
