Blue Bell has released a number of specialty flavors over the years, but their next flavor may be their most Texan yet. While the ice cream brand is yet to announce details on the new flavor, they have shared hints at what it might be. Now, many Texans are predicting the Texas-based company is teaming up with another legendary Texas brand for their next flavor, Dr Pepper.
On Monday, Blue Bell Ice Cream took to social media to tease fans with a new ice cream flavor expected to hit shelves soon. “A new flavor arrives in stores this Thursday! You deserve more clues. Details drop tomorrow on our Facebook and Instagram Stories at 10, 2 and 4,” the Texas brand said in the now viral post. A photo was also included in the post that featured a burgundy backdrop with vanilla ice cream inside a float, according to Click2Houston.
The photo is what caused many fans to assume the new ice cream flavor would be Dr Pepper, as the brand’s logo shares the same colors, and is a soda perfectly matched with vanilla ice cream. Whatever the flavor is, it will likely be delicious.
