The Bexar County Medical Examiner studied the death of an airport worker sucked into a jet engine in San Antonio Friday, and has ruled it a suicide.

Reports say Delta Airlines flight 1111 had just landed at San Antonio International from Los Angeles Friday. The jet was taxiing to a gate using one engine when the worker was ingested into the engine.

The worker was identified as 27-year-old David Renner, he was employed by UniFi Aviation, a Delta contractor.

Based on information from the Medical Examiner, the NTSB has canceled its investigation of the tragedy, saying there were no operational safety issues with either the airplane or the airport.
