A Ring doorbell camera caught the reaction of a South Dakota DoorDash customer who was surprised at her door by the police officer who arrested her deliver driver, delivering her order. The Marc Cox Morning Show discussed the story this week.
"The Door Dash driver said, 'Well, I was about to deliver food to that house up there,' explained Marc Cox of the Marc Cox Morning Show. The cop then put the in the alleged criminal in the back of his cruiser, and finished the delivery.
"I know I’m not who you were expecting, but your driver got arrested for some things he didn’t take care of," said the officer when the woman answers the door.
Police confirmed to Newsweek that the driver was stopped for a traffic violation then arrested for an undisclosed warrant.
“Sioux Falls police officers regularly go above and beyond the normal job and this is just one example of that. Little things like this happen on a regular basis and while most don’t receive the attention, we realize those little things can make a big difference,” the police spokesperson said.
