Fox News Correspondent Matt Finn joins The Mark Reardon Show to discuss the former elected official Robert Telles who allegedly murdered an investigative journalist over stories that may have led to the end of his career.
“Las Vegas prosecutors alleged that Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles lashed out and stabbed a newspaper reporter to death because that journalist reported on some stories that apparently led to the end of his public administrator political career and even his marriage. Prosecutors say that 45-year-old Robert Telles, a Democrat, made his first court appearance Thursday in connection with the death of 69-year-old Las Vegas Review Journal reporter Jeff German. He faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon and was not granted bail,” said Finn.
He later continued, “This is where it gets really shocking, investigators say they believe that Telles dressed in disguise, an orange reflective work shirt, and a very large wide-brimmed hat, walked around the newspaper reporters neighborhood and then as the newspaper reporter came out of his home, the county Administrator administrator allegedly stabbed the reporter to death seven times. Authorities believe that German fought back because of the defensive wounds on his body. Police say that they later found the reporter D. N. A. Under his fingernails.”
