Imagine a world where all drugs and alcohol are completely banned except for one day of the year. That's the story of The Binge, the 2020 Hulu comedy meant to put a comedic spin on The Purge.
Two years later, Binge Day is finally almost here, only this time it's on Christmas Eve. It's A Wonderful Binge is the follow-up to 'The Binge,' and a cast of both familiar and new faces is back.
Some of the original cast members like Vince Vaughn weren't able to make the sequel, but most of the original cast, including comedy legends like Danny Trejo and Kaitlin Olson, returned for the second installment.
Marta Piekarz, who plays Kimmi in the film, also returned with a more prominent role than the first film.
"In the first one, she was like more in high school, you've got your teenage angst. You're like, I don't care about anything. I'm too cool. But then in the second one, you're like, oh, life, like you have to start, you know, doing it. Doing the thing."

Piekarz joined KRLD's What to Watch team to talk about her role in the comedy and her character's progression since 2020.
She said working amongst the star-studded cast was like a dream.
"I was like, stand next to them and then be in a film with these people. It's the craziest dream come true. I don't know how I got into this position," she said.
The film's premise is certainly unique, as was Piekarz answer when asked her favorite holiday tradition.
"I would say when me and my grandma do cocaine lines off the piano," she laughed. "No, I'm just kidding. That's in the movie."
If the film is half as funny as Marta Piekarz, it's certainly going to be a Christmas-comedy classic. Listen to our full interview here.
It's A Wonderful Binge will be released on Hulu this Friday, December 9th.
