James Gagliano, CBS Security and Law Enforcement Analyst, joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss the national crime wave with Scott Jennings and Joe Arnold.
“You’re not prosecuting crime, you’re demonizing the police, there’s absolutely a war on law enforcement. These are the things that are contributing to the huge uptick in crime and surge around the country,” Gagliano shares on the reasons behind it all.
Later, he commented on low morale and recruitment rates, “It is really difficult right now. Across the country there are between 700,000 and 800,000 men and women in blue who swore an oath. They strap on a side arm and badge everyday, and they truly go out there to do the right thing.”
