Police in Anaheim, Calif., are investigating a death that occurred at Disneyland Resort over the weekend. They are looking for help from the public.
According to authorities, a woman apparently jumped off the Mickey and Friends parking structure at around 6:50 p.m. Saturday. When officers arrived, they found her lying on the ground.
They “immediately provided life-saving measures until Anaheim Fire & Rescue personnel arrived,” said the Anaheim Police Department.
Eventually, the woman was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Law enforcement said the “woman’s death is being investigated as a suicide,” and that it is ongoing.
People said that a spokesman with the Orange County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 46-year-old Marney Schoenfeld from Scottsdale, Ariz.

Her death is not the first suspected suicide at the parking structure. Christopher Christensen, a principal and cellist, also reportedly jumped to his death there in December, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“Like all death investigations, the cause and manner of death will be pending the conclusion of the investigations being completed by the Anaheim PD and Orange County Coroner’s Office,” said police regarding Schoenfeld’s death. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Anaheim PD at 714-765-1900.
