Looking for something more than your typical ketchup and mustard options?

Heinz has debuted “HEINZ REMIX” the first-ever customizable digital sauce dispenser that allows people to make their own “flavor creations.”

In a release, Heinz says there are over 200 potential combinations with the machine.

The free-standing machine is touchscreen operated and works by customers starting with a “base” condiment like Ketchup, Ranch, BBQ sauce and 57 Sauce.

They then can add flavors like Jalapeno, Smokey Chipotle, Buffalo and Mango with their choice of flavor intensity level.

The concept appears to not be unlike the customizable soda machines that can be found in places like Wendy's and other restaurants.

“As a company, we’re transforming through innovation by making bigger, more intentional bets to fuel our growth and create new experiences for consumers,” said Alan Kleinerman, Vice President of Disruption, Kraft Heinz. “HEINZ REMIX is a great example of this consumer-first approach to innovation. We’re changing the game for foodservice operators and sauce lovers - dipping will never be the same. With HEINZ REMIX, it’s more than a sauce dispenser; it’s an insights engine and business model enabler that will help Kraft Heinz understand and respond to consumer trends and flavor preferences in real-time. Who knows – maybe our next new sauce combination will come from a superfan using HEINZ REMIX!”

The new HEINZ REMIX will debut at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago this weekend and expect to pilot the machine late this year to year next year in restaurants.

Kraft Heinz is headquartered in Pittsburgh and Chicago.
