Nikki Haley vows to stay in the 2024 race despite a pressure campaign from former President Donald Trump and his allies.
"Well, I’m not afraid to say the hard truths out loud. I feel no need to kiss the ring. And I have no fear of Trump’s retribution. I’m not looking for anything from him," Haley said during a her speech.
Haley's campaign stirred up speculation on Monday that she may leave the presidential race when she announced her plans to deliver a "state of the race" address. But instead, she took the opportunity to "double down on her criticism of Trump," according to USA Today.
