Have you seen this man? Increasingly desperate and seemingly with no new leads, authorities released the first physical description of a suspect in the Arizona disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie.
The suspect is described as having an average build and an approximate height of 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10, and was seen wearing a black-colored 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack on the front porch camera of Guthrie's home.
As it seeks clues, the FBI increased the reward from $50,000 to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. And the still-unknown man seen in the security video at Guthrie's home is now officially described as a suspect.
Meanwhile, sources revealed that a pair of black gloves, resembling one seen on the hand of the suspect in images, had been found during the search for Guthrie. This has not been confirmed by authorities, but longtime crime show cable TV host Nancy Grace said federal authorities are also looking for a gray truck in connection with Nancy Guthrie's disappearance.
"They're asking everyone within a two mile radius to pull video and have they seen a truck, a gray truck, and do they own a truck, and do they know somebody who owns a truck?" Grace said on her show.
No make, model or license plate information has been provided. But if you recognize the suspect, his backpack, build, stance, walk, call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or tips.fbi.gov, the Pima County Sheriff's Department (520-351-4900) or 88-CRIME.
Sheriff Chris Nanos had previously said, "There's no ego here. We we in this part of the country, we'll take anybody's help."
