The Ritz-Carlton is set to launch their third luxury superyacht named Luminara.
The ship will debut in 2025, sits at 794 feet and is considered the largest and most impressive part of its fleet.
The ship can accommodate up to 452 guests and includes 226 suites with private ocean-view terraces. Ritz-Carlton says Luminara "ensures an intimate journey with one of the highest staff and space ratios in at sea."
The Luminara also offers world-class dining with five restaurants, six bars and a wine vault, a signature Ritz-Carlton spa, and a marina that gives guests direct access to the ocean.
With its new superyacht, Ritz-Carlton is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region, exploring 28 ports across 10 countries including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand and beyond. Luminara will also offer itineraries in the Mediterranean during its inaugural launch season.
"As the first luxury hotel brand to venture into the cruise space, we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our yacht voyages into Asia's most sought-after destinations. This milestone underscores our commitment to providing exclusive and immersive experiences that cater to the discerning tastes of luxury travelers," Jenni Benzaquen, Senior Vice President of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, said in a statement.
Luminara will take guests on 10 different journeys, ranging from 10 to 15 nights in length and departing from either Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore. Itineraries include stops in coveted ports such as Hạ Long Bay, Vietnam; Puerto Princesa, Philippines, and access to lively city centers such as Seoul, South Korea; Osaka, Japan; and Bangkok, Thailand.
It is expected to embark on its first sail on July 31, 2025, for a round-trip to Rome.
Ritz-Carlton expanded into the cruising category with the launch of its first superyacht in October 2022. Measuring 624 feet in length, "Evrima" features 149 suites, each with a private terrace, accommodating up to 298 guests.
Its second ship is slated to launch this September. Spanning 790 feet, "Ilma" offers 224 suites, accommodating up to 448 guests.
