Dallas's Southwest Airlines is making a huge change to the way it sells tickets for flights.
Southwest announced it will let Expedia's companies sell airline tickets on its sites. Those include Hotwire, Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, and Cheap Tickets.
It has never allowed those third parties to sell tickets before, because it wanted passengers to book directly through Southwest. It did let Kayak and Google Flights to start displaying airfares two years ago.
Southwest will also let people book flights through Kayak in a similar arrangement as the one with Expedia.
