Southwest Airlines canceled more than 3,000 flights over the weekend. The company has given a multitude of causes for the delays, but the exact cause is still unknown. Lydia Hu, Fox Business Correspondent, joined the Annie Frey Show to give us an update on the situation.
“Insiders are calling it an operational meltdown,” said Hu.
Though the problem started on Friday, according to Hu, about one-third of all Southwest flights are on a delayed schedule. Hu discussed the reasons the company has given, some of the speculation surrounding the situation, and when we might see an end to the delays. (listen above)
