There are many different things passengers complain about when stuck on an airplane. That’s why far too often people let their emotions get the best of them, leading to the many viral airplane videos on the internet. Luckily, Southwest Airlines is giving their customers a few less things to complain about, as they have announced the addition of power ports and more overhead bin space to all planes.

After announcing the addition of power ports to all seatbacks on airplanes a year ago, Southwest Airlines is finally ready to roll out the new amenity. Starting this week, passengers will be able to use either a USB-A and USB-C connectors on 737 airplanes. According to WFAA, Southwest will begin retrofitting all existing planes with the power ports, and new 737s they receive from Boeing will have them as well.

Along with the power ports, Southwest will also add new overhead bins to accommodate more bags in the cabin. “We have a long and proud history of offering Legendary Customer Service and warm Hospitality, and we have bold plans and significant investments to modernize and enhance the Southwest Experience," said Bob Jordan, Chief Executive Officer. With these additions, flying just got a little easier.
