Brands are always looking for creative ways to generate attention, and often this is done with giveaways and promotions. While some may think everything has already been done by this point, companies keep coming up with new ways to surprise customers. The latest comes courtesy of Subway, who is now offering free sandwiches for life for someone to change their name to “Subway.”
Subway recently announced a contest to give away free sandwiches to life to one lucky person that is willing to change their name. “How much do you love Subway’s new deli heroes? Enough to change your first name to Subway and get them free for life?” said Subway. The winner will be randomly selected and the company will reimburse the winner for legal and processing costs connected with the name change.
According to CW33, submissions are now open and will end August 4. Those interested can apply here. While it may not be the most traditional name, at least it comes with a story.
