National border patrol council president says the left wants to excuse cartels abusing kids

Director at the Center for Economic Opportunity Patrice Onwuka has a very personal relationship with immigration. Her parents came over from the Caribbean. Patrice was three years old at the time. Her parents had to make an extremely difficult decision, to leave their home in search of a better life. They became legal immigrants in the United States.
We've seen this issue be a huge poker chip in every campaign on both sides. How can we fix a problem if we can't even agree on calling this a crisis?
Patrice said she thinks the Biden administration would like to distract us with infrastructure plans, SCOTUS expansion, and debates on gun reform so that the pressure is off about the border.
