Former President Donald Trump took time to wish his followers a happy Easter on Sunday, but the message, typed in all-caps, seems to have left many confused.

Trump shared his post on his social media platform Truth Social, where he seemed to be sharing a happy Easter message, but quickly turned into a rant about those who disagree with his political ideologies.

Among those called out in the message included the “weak & pathetic RINOS” and “radical left Democrats, socialists, Marxists, & communists.”

“HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, INCLUDING THOSE THAT DREAM ENDLESSLY OF DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF DREAMING ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE, THOSE THAT ARE SO INCOMPETENT THEY DON’T REALIZE THAT HAVING A BORDER AND POWERFUL WALL IS A GOOD THING, & HAVING VOTER I.D., ALL PAPER BALLOTS, & SAME DAY VOTING WILL QUICKLY END MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD, & TO ALL OF THOSE WEAK & PATHETIC RINOS, RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS, SOCIALISTS MARXISTS, & COMMUNISTS WHO ARE KILLING OUR NATION, REMEMBER, WE WILL BE BACK!” the post from Trump says.

The post from Trump came less than a week after he became the first United States President to be charged in a criminal investigation. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records by the Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg.

Trump turned himself over last Tuesday, and during his court appearance, he pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him.

In response to Trump’s Easter Sunday post, several opponents of the former president blasted his message on social media.

Among those to make comments included Christopher Hale, a former Democratic congressional candidate, who took time to compare the former president’s message with the current president’s.

“Today, we hold close the Easter message that nothing—not even death—can match the power of faith, hope, and love,” Biden’s Easter message said. “And we remember Jesus’ sacrifice and recommit ourselves to love God with all our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves, embracing His call to treat one another with compassion.”

But some appeared to like the message, notably those who support the former president, as they shared their backing of his sentiment, praising him for his continued defense of America.

“President Trump takes no days off from fighting for the American people. Happy Easter!” Brigitte Gabriel, a conservative influencer, shared.

While many were baffled by the president’s post, he followed it up with another, later Sunday, that read, “WORLD WAR III.”

It is unclear what the former president meant by the post.
