An Iraqi war veteran from Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania is facing multiple felonies on charges he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl.
Brandon Rumbaugh is charged with sexually assaulting the victim at his home on two separate occasions last month.
Police say video surveillance corroborates the victim's claim that Rumbaugh purchased alcohol at a local Sheetz with her on April 12.
The victim says that was the first of two nights where she says she was sexually assaulted by Rumbaugh.
Police say in the second incident a witness was sleeping in a lower bunk while an assault took place in an upper bunk.
According to the police report, Rumbaugh told the victim to keep story secret until she turned 18.
He's being held without bail at the County Jail.
Rumbaugh lost both of his legs after stepping on an IED in 2009 while serving in Afghanistan.
He spent almost two years undergoing treatment and therapy before he was released from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. and returned to Southwestern PA.
