We’ve all been there.
You wake up feeling like reheated death, and you realize you’re not going anywhere today but the sofa under your favorite blanket in your most comfortable pajamas, popping the recommended dosage of your cold meds du jour.
Then you realize it. You took the last of those meds last time you were feeling less than yourself, and you kept putting off restocking the supply, so now you must trudge to the pharmacy.
Walgreens wants to do away with that scenario with their latest announcement: The national pharmacy chain has launched a delivery service in nearly 400 of its stores across the country.
The retail chain says over 27,000 items will be available for delivery 24 hours a day, and delivery will be same-day in most instances. Delivery fees will vary depending on location.

“Walgreens knows that taking care of health and wellbeing isn’t exclusive to business hours and that needs can pop up at any time of day,” the chain said in a statement. “That’s why we’re always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience with convenient and trusted solutions.”
Deliveries of goods in-stock as well as prescriptions can be ordered up either in the Walgreens app or by calling your local Walgreens location.
