Seventeen men have been arrested and charged with child luring by the Atlantic City Police after a pair of YouTubers tricked them into believing they were meeting minors for sex.

The men, who are between the ages of 23 and 77, were each met with "concerned citizens" who posed as underage children on various social media sites, according to police.

After confronting the men with cameras rolling, the pair— identified as Cameron Decker and Shafiq Blake by BreakingAC.com— notified police and provided officers with "screen shots of conversations and detailed information" shared between them and the men.

Since the arrests started on July 16, police said there have been seven arrests of New Jersey residents, four New York residents — including one from Brooklyn — as well as others from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama.

Each has been charged with luring/enticing a child by various means, a second-degree crime.

The charges come days after the same YouTubers, who run the channel Predatory Catchers PA, helped Egg Harbor Township Police nab two other men who thought they were each going to meet up with underage teens for sex but were both similarly confronted.

Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department Criminal Investigations Section at 609-347-5766.
