Let's take a look at a country that's been in the news a lot lately. A country currently at war, that we may not know a lot about, but whose flag we've grown accustomed to seeing in social media posts and on lapel pins and waved at events everywhere.
It is a country that is being defended, in large part, by its own citizens, and so far, we have not had to fire a single shot.
I'm going to share some facts about their political parties that you may not know, but I'm not going to put a "Zelensky" or any other familiar name in front of these facts. It will be a simple presentation of party platform & recent actions, and you can decide whether you are aligning yourself with the right side in this war.
The party in question:
1. Blocks opposing viewpoints online.
2. Shuts down news stories that portray the party poorly.
3. Is considering adding judgeships to regain control of national courts.
4. Forces medical injections on its citizens.
5. Attempted to eliminate the minority's check on legislative power to create pure majority rule.
If it hasn't dawned on you yet, the country in question is not Ukraine, it's the United States. Does it bother you to see your own side portrayed this way? There are reasonable rebuttals to these allegations, but objectively, if you saw any of these things happening in another country, you'd be against it, right?
Now ask yourself, are you okay with it happening here?
