President Joe Biden told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos he doesn’t recall a warning from military advisors against pulling the remaining 2,500 troops from Afghanistan.
“They take no responsibility for [Afghanistan], it’s a complete disaster, there are ways this could have been handled far better,” says Heidi Harris, critical of the way the Biden administration handled, and continues to handle, the situation unraveling in Afghanistan.
The mainstream media, normally in support of Biden and his administration, even expresses a skepticism for the moves being made. “Even the left media is starting to catch onto this and be critical of Biden,” Harris says.
“The scariest part is that this is sending a message to world leaders, our friends and our enemies, that nobody is at the helm of the most powerful nation on Earth.”
