Congressman Billy Long has responded to the news that Senator Josh Hawley has endorsed Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler for the US Senate primary race in Missouri.
Long believes there is a consolidation of Republican power behind Hartzler that is attempting to keep former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens out of the US Senate and keep “a guy close to Trump out” whom Long says is himself.
Long says there is going to be an onslaught of conservative PAC contributions poured into the Hartzler campaign. “They’re going to fill this thing up with money; Vicky is going to have enough money to burn a wet mule.”
