President Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, joins The Marc Cox Morning Show to discuss the “One Big, Beautiful Bill” and the role it could play in border security and immigration policy.
Homan says there's more work to do to secure both the southern and northern borders.
“We’ve made great strides, but if we want to make these successes permanent, we need funding to do it.”
Speaking to those successes, Homan says, “President Trump was able to accomplish in seven weeks what Joe Biden couldn’t—or wouldn’t—do in four years.”
On pushback from the left: “You can protest all you want, you can work against ICE... but you can’t cross the line.”
Homan joins the show following a Washington Times article regarding a private consulting firm he ran before his appointment as Border Czar.
“I was successful in my own company, and I took an 80 percent pay cut to come back and serve my country.”
"In this position I'm in I have nothing —zero—to do with any contracts whatsoever. Not just the companies I worked for or worked with, but all contracts to do with the federal government."
He also points to media bias: “Shame on them—the Washington Post—we gave a response to them, and of course they didn’t include it.”
